Nova Scotia School Insurance Program (SIP)

The Nova Scotia School Insurance Program (SIP) is a not-for-profit organization owned and governed by the school boards of Nova Scotia.    SIP has purchased the student accident insurance “Basic Plan” for all registered students at no cost to the students, parents or school boards since 1988.

An optional “Gold Plan” is available for purchase which enhances basic coverage for students to 24/7/365.  The cost of the plan per year is $14.00 per student and $35.00 if there are 3 or more students in a family.   Please see the SIP website for more information.
