École LeMarchant St. Thomas School is an innovative and diverse learning community that challenges and supports each student as they strive to achieve excellence in academic growth and global citizenship.
 
We are one of 83 elementary schools in the Halifax Regional Centre for Education, and one of 23 that offer Early French Immersion. We currently have close to 600 students.  Our school is located in a quiet residential area of Halifax full of tree-lined streets.
 
Our school proudly serves students from Grades Primary to 6 with both French Immersion and English streams.  Our Pre Primary students attend Sir Charles Tupper elementary school. Our specialist teachers instruct students in areas of Physical Education, Music, and Art. Classes visit our school library under the guidance of our Library Support Specialist.
 
We are also fortunate to have a warm and welcoming parent community who are highly engaged and enthusiastic about our school and its goals.  Our parents are active on the Home & School Association and on the School Advisory Councils which meet once a month.
 
We are thrilled to be in our beautiful new state of the art school.
